Beautiful & comfortable (shale with block print)
Jan 23, 2025  |  By Mary Z
Haha--lets be honest--I only order from Marketplace because I love reading the stories about the smiling lovely ladies who are able to support their families by making lovely clothing. And they do a great job too. There is a BIG difference wearing clothes that have been created by ladies who love to sew vs cheap clothes manufactured under sweat shop conditions. Your clothes feel good :)

These pants fit fine (got L & usually wear about 12) Love the pockets & the red & black print make them ideal for my red shirts and black shirts. I am independently protesting the Pantene Color of the Year--but these pants in the shale are my one concession to that color palette because they are so pretty & comfortable :). I did order a reversible vest from you late last year & have worn it quite a bit & it will go great with these pants.
Its kind of my New Years resolution to make some of my own clothes because I super enjoy it & so far have made a red plaid Tamarac jacket & 2 Sicilian tops (one of black & white checked cotton) & one of Tana Lawn Honeysuckle Dance & have just received a couple meters of new Tana Lawn--Oscar's Palace--which will be another Sicilian Top (Which is going to be so awesome with my new shale barrel leg pants). And of course just had the fabric quilted for my Steam Punk jacket that I need to make too. And these pants are going to be really great with that too. I have so many projects to work on that its really nice to take a rest and just let your sweet ladies make me a pretty pair of pants at a very reasonable price.
Your ladies would faint if they could see and feel the Liberty of London Tana Lawn I ordered retail from the UK + the 25% increase between the $ and the lb & the Royal Mail is exorbitant !!
Thanks for sewing for me from the other side of the world,
Mary Z. Cox
MarketPlace's Response: Thank You Mary! You really made my day. It's so heartwarming to read messages from customers like you who appreciate the clothes the artisans make and feel a sense of connection with them.
