Working For Independence

Artisan discussion meetings have covered a wide range of issues over the years. Recently the theme has been about the values that are most important to the women. One of the qualities that came up repeatedly in the talks was Independence. These women have fought hard for the right to make their own decisions and have their voices heard. Seema shared that for her, “Independence means being able to work and support my family and making a home and identity for myself in Mumbai.”

Wonderful Fabric and So Beautifully Constructed

This is a gorgeous garment. Love it. Beautiful colors and design and extra stitching decoration. I am 5'5", 125 lbs and curvy. Often MarketPlace garments just have too much fabric for me. But this tunic was offered in PS. It is perfect. Still lots of room, but not voluminous amounts of fabric. Speaking of fabric, super quality as are all of MarketPlace garments I have purchased. Thanks you!
