During the summer of 2021, the children of the artisans were asked talk to their grandparent to learn how things had changed. “My grandmother told me how they used letters and telegrams in their times. Today we just make a call and our uncle comes to pick us up at the railway station. There was no way to tell if the trains got late or there was any problem on the way. What I really like about my grandmother is that she is a very caring person.”

The dress is easy to wear and comfortable in the summer heat. Nice fabric with a print I like. Please be advised: wash this separately as the colors will run. I didn't, but luckily didn't do as much damage as I could have. It has nice deep pockets. It really didn't wrinkle much with washing, but I will iron it anyway. It is a boxy shape so if you're looking for something fitted, this is not the dress for you. It runs really large! I wear a 10 and even the small is very roomy.
