Our easy mid-length swing dress goes upcycled! This deadstock patchwork A-line dress uses overstock blockprinted cotton fabrics to create one-of-a-kind style. Overdyed in blue, the chindi patchwork colors and patterns may vary due to the variety of upcycled fabrics, so each dress is unique. Hand embroidery seam details. Three-quarter length sleeves.

Celebrating Summer Fest 2023!

The children and their parents had a ball working on all aspects, from planning and setting up to participating in all the fun and rewarding activities. The program scheduled a variety of different activities throughout the ten days.

One of the days, for example, was dedicated to Art and feelings, while another day focused on Storytelling, aiming to inspire the imagination and foster a love for stories. Of course, Food is a part of any Fest, so an interactive Cooking day was planned. Parent–Child day was designed to foster bonding, creativity and interaction between students and parents. Days devoted to Art, Sport and Toys & Games offered a wide range of activities for all age groups.

The grand finale of the Fest was a community fair organized by the students. This culminating event included food stands, game booths, and stalls selling some artwork created during the festival.

Beautiful and versatile

I own more than half a dozen Marketplace dresses, and this one is one of the best yet. It's light enough for summer in my hot climate, but substantial enough to add a scarf and tights for cooler weather, or layer with a turtleneck and leggings in winter. I love the mix of patterns, and it's very comfortable to wear. I hope Marketplace makes more of these chindi patchwork dresses in the future!

I really liked this dress because of the colors and combination of prints. It was listed as "internet only" and unfortunately my preferred size was out of stock. I kept returning to that page and eventually I was surprised to find that it was available again. I had a lot of trouble trying to place my order. After several tries, I switched to a different browser and I was successful. Yay! Then I was surprised to have it delivered only about a week later. I am really happy and I am planning to wear it on Christmas. I used to make dresses for myself using a combination of print fabrics, so this sort of construction is very appealing to me.
