International Day Of The Girl Child
The staff of Share decided to celebrate International Day of the Girl Child on October 11, 2021. This day was established by the United Nations to recognize girls' rights and the unique challenges they face around the world. Share is dedicated to celebrating girls and helping them to reach their potential every day, but it is nice to have one special day. Using films, discussions and art, we considered how girls in other countries also faced discrimination and inequality, but are working towards a just and equal world.

Beautiful and unusual

I had my eye on this Kurta for many months and am so glad I decided to buy it. The colors, prints and textures are beautiful, and it is warm enough to be worn throughout the winter. I received three compliments the first time I wore it. I am 5'2" tall and around 128 pounds and purchased a small petite. If you are much smaller than I am, this may be on the large side. For me, it's perfect - great with flowing trousers or worn as a dress with boots and tights. And I can easily wear a long sleeved t-shirt or turtleneck under it if it gets very cold.
